Front panel lock please
I wish I could lock the front panel of my Yamaha amp from the MusicCast app. If you have babies and young kids, you’ll understand why this is essential.

The application uses Wi-Fi function on your mobile terminal for the purpose of operating network-enabled devices.
- Accessing to music information stored in your smartphone / tablet
This application accesses to music information stored in your smartphone / tablet for the purpose of displaying, playing and editing the music information and/or playlist.
To setup your MusicCast devices, this app needs to find your Wi-Fi network as location information. This app doesn’t collect your actual location using GPS or Wi-Fi based positioning technologies.

Useless app
Slow, clumsy, unintuitive and lots of skipping when using the app to stream directly from the internet. Simply using AirPlay from your device is much more stable.

Such a crap app
Soooo slow and clumsy. Also dumbs down all the awesome interfaces of the actual streaming services like Tidal and Deezer. Not to mention that it doesn’t have Google Play.
So much prefer to just use the Tidal app...when comparing, it’s like MusicCast is from the 90’s and Tidal right up to date.
MusicCast is such a crap, dumbed down app that it actually makes me resent being locked into the Yamaha eco system.
