Inconsistent
When receiving money from other banks, sometimes it is received instantly and sometimes it takes more than 4 days. And when you ask one of your agents they seem to have little or no clue at all on how to help you. You have upgraded now, you are operating as a bank not as a money transfer agent anymore, atleast upgrade your customer care staff as well so that they know what they are doing and act/solve our problems….you are big now. Otherwise keep up the good work you guys are doing.

Very poor service
I put a wrong surname on the cash send to Zim and the pple in Gweru office were so arrogant and they don’t hv any customer service.They refused to even tell me how to correct the whole situation and I called the office in SA.The bank doesn’t even answer the calls and the call agents are so ignorant.They said they would call back and never did.If the demand is too much for you,please close the bank if you don’t know what you are doing.
I can’t even buy electricity online in SA.Upgrade your bank and please hire professional pple to work for you.

They don’t care
It’s the third time I'm sending money home and it gets stuck on their system. There is no communication to let you know what’s happening with the transaction not until you get to find out by yourself. Their call-center is a living hell, if you happen to get through. They’re a bunch of scammers I won’t advise anybody to use them. Most especially when it’s urgent.

Could use improvements
There's no option to buy electricity locally. It's a pretty basic feature, it should've been included. Very few options available when using USSD. USSD is essential because the app needs internet. The card is the only reason I'm still using Hellopaisa

Very poor self service app
Your app is very disappointing. You need to come up with an app that is user friendly and that it should at least have adequate self service functions not this crap.
1. The app rejects all uploading of personal documents. If I call your contact centre they ask me to look for your street vendor agents who are not always available.
2. Your app does not allow updating of limits to be send. Everything is greyed out.
3. Your contact center is actually useless they can’t assist with anything to do with updating of personal information on my profile. This is so pathetic

You can do better
I have been with Hello Paisa for almost 5 years now, at first it was all well and now am noticing that you guys are missing some core things on your app.
Imagine making an order and being given 2 reference numbers for different pay points? What for? Why can’t you provide the user with the pay points list so that they choose where they want to make their payment and then your system generate the reference for that pay point only.
When you make an order, imagine a scenario where the cashier uses a reference number meant for another pay point, and your system doesn’t even give a warning that the reference number that has been used is not for that pay point and then as a user you have to be calling the Call center guys and be told to be patient, how can one be patient for a week? When all of this can be avoided with better functionalities of your app.
Make things easier for your users please. You are the best!

Poor Service
If you like a service that doesn’t do what it says then download. You can use if you are desperate but it’s not as cheap as advertised.
Their service charges are low but their exchange rate is not so they make money by applying their own exchange rate which is not even close to the bank rate.
None of their phones work! Their call back service doesn’t work! They don’t respond to emails.

Hi, I am a bit disappointed with service, I was told by agent at the time of registration that I am South African and my daily limits will be increase to 25k by tomorrow, I called the help line day after and I was told that he can’t help me but to wait, two days gone pass I and my daily limit is still reflecting 5k.

1. Had a difficult time requesting for a limit increase
The client center kept telling me different requirements needed at different times.
I spoke to a guy by the name Nicholas Paradzayi who was busy defending an already flawed system instead and never bothered to listen to the complaint.

Worst experience ever
This is the most fraudulent service and worst customer experience I have ever received in my whole life. I sent money through your platform, paid into your Standard Bank account using the ref number. Instead you guys expired the transaction and my beneficiary is yet to receive any money. One of your agent had the guts to tell me he wants to help me, is he doing me a favor. Just send my money to my beneficiary so I can delete your app.

I don’t usually write reviews for apps (even though I read other people’s reviews) but I have used this app on this platform and I must confess my expectations have been exceeded.
While the charges may not appeal to everyone but the swiftness with which money is transferred is AMAZING.
I highly recommend this service.
