Latest update requires consent to track location ‘even when app is closed or not in use’.
Locked out if consent not given. Only option.

Useless app
I have been with Suunto for 8 years and all my data is on app. Tonite I go for a run and won’t to download run and for some or other reason it wanted me to log in again and all my data is gone. I now have the reason to move to Garmin. Dam you Suunto and the local support centre. I hope you lose all your clients

Suunto Ambit Peak 3 compatibility
Seems to be a few fundamental problems between app and Suunto ambit peak 3 watch. Very frustrating just trying to get a .gpx file route onto the watch from the app. Synching issues between watch and app are ongoing. No response from support.

I still can’t sync my watch!
I want an app for 1 reason: to sync my watch to it. This is the apps primary function, and it is useless without it! Why does this still not work across all your watches? The watch thinks it’s connected and the app doesn’t. This is so frustrating, especially now that I’ve deleted Movescount and can’t get it back.

Suunto 5 is bad
Got Suunto 5 for triathlon training. Endless issues connecting to the app. It start recording kilometres usually about 3k in and then also not accurate.

App fails to pair with Suunto devices
Very poor performance from this app as it fails in its primary function which is to pair effectively with Suunto watches. I have endless problems with the new app not pairing and Suunto support is ineffective in solving the issue

Its a pleasure to use the watch but an absolute nightmare to use this app.
Rather get rid of your Suunto and get a Garmin.

Doesn’t sync
My Ambit3 has always had trouble syncing to this app on ly iPhone 10 and 11.
The trouble is not in the connectivity between the watch and phone but in this app actually downloading workouts/’moves’ onto the app.
Despite devoting many hours to trying to resolve this issue and trying endless potential solutions I have not managed to resolve the problem.
I have to download my workouts to Movescount on my computer.

Is this app available on the IOS store? I don’t seem to be able to download it, unless if it’s being reviewed. Please advise, I’m finding it very frustrating that I cannot synchronize my Suunto Ambit 3 with the App from my IPhone.

Not compatible with Smart Sensor
This app is not compatible with the Suunto Smart sensor in this version. It was described to me as a ‘future feature request’. If you’re thinking this renders your sensor completely useless, congratulations! You’ve won a branded desk ornament!

Come on Suunto, is this the best you can do? The app crashes, and if it doesn’t it doesn’t sync. What a load of rubbish. Movescount is so much better.

Very poor app - needs more work Suunto!
Tried installing Suunto app to replace Movescount which I use with my Ambit3. Found the app very buggy and wouldn’t connect properly. Said connection failed then would sync a few hours later. Tried multiple times to reinstall, restart phone and pair again. Have reverted back to Movescount. I don’t know what your plan is Suunto but this is disappointing. I’ve loved my ambit3 but doesn’t seem like you’re keeping up with the industry in terms of investing in the app. Pity as you’re watches are great.

Doesn’t connect to Vitality
Don’t buy the new 2019 Suunto watches until the connection to Vitality is fixed because you can’t use the old Movescount app with the watches.

App mostly takes a long time to sync. Crashes regularly when trying to open and upload. An update is way overdue. I’m sure suunto can do much better than this app to compliment their excellent watches.

I reliable and slow, gone back to Movescount
Although the interface is very pretty they seem to have hired a designer but no developers. Wasted hours trying to get activities to sync and then when they do they often don’t want to sync with Strava. Also haven’t found how to edit watch setting in the app either, nor the Suunto movie...but I might just be blind.

So frustrating
I connected my Suunto watch and followed all the steps provided. Then the app ends up saying watch is busy please close all menus, then when nothing is open it never starts to sync. It’s frustrating because nothing is happening and nothing is syncing.

Slow, buggy, makes me want a Garmin
It’s slow, jams all the time, sync is almost manual (sometimes needing to be closed and reopened), not as much information as Movescount or other apps, your whole history is filled with stock photos of what your activity was - cute at first, but irritating when you actually just want the info and now you have extra scrolling to do through monotonous pictures you didn’t add yourself, adding no value. I haven’t checked other activities, but you can’t even manually add common information like your scuba dive depth, water temp etc. either.
I’d go back to Movescount but don’t want a reminder in Movescount to download this app endlessly either :-( Nothing here syncs to Movescount either, so don’t expect to be able to look at anything on your computer.
COME ON SUUNTO - this is poor.
