Doesn’t work
This app doesn’t work. The debit card payment doesn’t go through. It continuously prompts for the user to try again and after scanning the QR Code it fails. I contacted support and even they couldn’t assist to get it resolved.

Unable to load bank card
I am trying to load my bank card in the app. I am asked for my DOB, instead of the card’s CV lab. As such, I cannot transact using the app whenever I fill up. Please look into this serious fail/inconvenience.

Registration impossible
I follow the steps to register. On the last page I need to tick the “accept terms and condition” box, but the “get started”tab appears directly over it and that tick becomes impossible

Please add Apple Pay!
PLEASE ADD APPLE PAY as a payment option! The card verification prompts that is needed for FNB cards is slow & makes paying at the pump troublesome. Otherwise no problems so far.

Useless
It is useless as you cannot load money in the app. Each time I add any of my bank cards it says “error, something went wrong”. I’ve contacted Engen for help but they were not helpful as well. They said I should send an email and nothing went on from there. I’m really disappointed in them.

Fails and looses funds and transactions
Disappointing. I had funds loaded with enough to travel for work on this app. If failed to make payments at the station, days later tried to re install , logged in and all funds and transaction history is gone.

Cant sign in
Created a user account (with email), and after multiple sign-in attempts with only a blank white screen as response, gave up and deleted the app. Disappointed as I exclusively fill my car at Engen garages and generally have a good experience.

Poor layout and input fields
Dear developers, an app is suppose to be easy to use; not using a magnifying glass to enter a numbers; blue text on grey, really; and then on the bank card screen, was the idea to use the smallest space available; how do you expect people to find this easy to enter details that is so small on a screen; really make an effort as if you care; just this once please

Nicely designed and useful
Nicely designed app with useful functionality.
Connecting to payment gateways takes too long.
This is a safety risk for myself as I have to wait for the page to process.
As a result I have stopped using this app.
Tap and go is much quicker and safer.

It us a great app and it works as anticipated. The thing I’m asking myself is when it comes to loyalty points, I don’t see any update on the loyalty points anywhere and I’m wondering if this works. Can you please as somewhere where one can see the updated literally points?

In theory this app is great, but only in theory. You always struggle to log in. When you eventually are able to, the history from your previous logs is gone. I’ll stick to my manual log book, thanks

Horrible app, failed payment
The idea was perfect but the app is horrible. Never leave your card and solely rely on this app, you’ll be disappointed. I left my cards thinking this app is all I need. Failed many times to approve my transaction. Had to leave my phone at the garage, drive home get my card to pay.

Lots of errors
I have been unable to make purchases and now I am unable to log in. Ny whole logbook and expenses is saved on there but I can not access it. I am told i have the wrong password even after resetting it and trying again. Will delete as soon as I can retrive my information.

Good idea poor execution
It takes ages to load. Ages to login. Many times you have to try login a couple of times to get it to work.
THEN very few Engen attendants know who to use the system to scan and pay.

App not supported at my engen
Please enable or give training to the Engen station at Kimberley Northern cape. I am really disappointed as i was expecting it to work but the staff told me they don't have the QR function although its a brand new station. I will change the rating when you have resolved this issue

Can’t register
I am not a novice at using apps, but find a lengthy T&C’s to start with rather alarming. And then I can’t register! Having accepted the t&c’s, and getting notifications, get to the login or register page and can go no further. There is no separate option for new registration. I would like to register separately with Engen, and not go through another platform. Selecting the Engen icon takes me to Microsoft where I am a registered user, but no go.
2020/04/23 - review update. Thanks for getting back to me. Now that I understand the logic, I’ve logged in and added my details. And presumably some time in the future after lockdown I will drive my car again, and fill up at my favourite brand fuel station :)

Unable to login
User account from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'Engen Petroleum' and cannot access the application '1c8643e6-65b1-436c-aca5-e39b756a0aef'(MotoristApp_Prod) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.

Cool App - But keeps om crashing & Question marks about privacy?
Nice simplistic app with the necessary/ relevant features in it, bit keeps on crashing. One then needs to close the app and need to log in again. This happens multiple times.
More question marks around privacy. Why is one forced to use your facebook or Gmail account to register instead of just creating a new account?
And when creating the app this message comes up: “Engen wants to use surgeidentity.com to sign in - this allows the app and website TO SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT YOU.
What type of information and to whom? If you don't agree with this option you wont be able to use the app. Therefore Im not very comfortable with the security of this app right now.
