Inconvenient

Was this app tested before it was rolled out to the public? It’s bug after bug. The fact that you need to already have data to transact makes it even more inconvenient. When you forget your pin, instead of setting it up again on the app like one normally would, you’re put through to an agent, again: waste of time. It takes so long to buy anything cause it either doesn’t pick up the card or it can’t connect to the bank. What a mess. Reading through the reviews you can see a common thread, instead of fixing it you’re asking people to send emails to your support teams, for a telecoms company this is embarrassing

Bad customer service

They have the worst cover service ever. Their agents will either leave you hanging or they never know what you are talking about. I always have to send my query on Facebook to get help. And when they call you, they will still hang up after telling you to hold. And, make sure you always have data when going to the shops as you can not use the app when you don’t have data

Poor app

I downloaded the app with high hopes, the first thing is used was unlock summer rewards, i tried it twice and it crashed twice, extremely poor from Vodacom being such a big tech company

Slow and buggy

This is the worst most frustrating app I've ever used. I literally want vodacom to take my money but the app struggles to add a card. Please test your apps on your own network before deploying them.

Bucky app

Am not impressed at all After purchasing the R1 data the app acts funny can no longer buy the data again .like I really can’t trust you with my credit card credentials because the App is really not stable

Bugs

The app has a lot of bugs firstly i enter my card details and finish 3D secure no notification pop up that say successfully then when I’m trying to buy data it says sorry an error occurred on outside try again later. This app is wasting my time

Very flakey app

Can’t add payment card or add funds to wallet - app keeps crashing.
R1 deal offered as incentive to sign up but no longer available.
Trying to purchase another deal - keeps getting errors.
This app was undercooked and not tested adequately when they released it!!!
For a tech company trying to break into financial services with this app this is very poor and shoddy.

Worst App I ever tried

This App is not up to standard.. crashed on their first R1 sale.! Been trying for 6 hours straight to make payment on the item I tried to purchase and I keep getting an error. No the the R1 promotion is sold out and my hole app keeps crashing when going to chart as the items keeps trying to process payment..
Thank you Vodacom for spoiling my whole day with this junk.!

Transaction Issues

Very disappointing when it comes to card payments. Bought data bundles using my card and the transaction went through in my bank account but the bundles never reflected or updated.

V. Awful Experience

I can’t even pay using my Debit card on this newly “revised” app💔🤦🏾‍♂️. It also crashes a lot and causing my phone to heat😩🚮. The older version was way superior than this one🤞🏾 I don’t even think this could be fixed with an update, that’s how awful I found the app to be.

Useless

Don’t waste your time.
Not only does app constantly say error for everything it just wants your information.
I transferred money to the wallet just for it to say I can’t use the money.

Vodapay App

Great app and easy to use. I am not a tech savvy guy but became comfortable quite quickly with navigating and purchasing. Moreover, I felt safe with providing my personal information because of the brand. Made my first purchase yesterday and was kept fully informed, end to end regarding the order, tracking and delivery. I would like to see more other brands on this app so that it can be a one stop shop instead of utilising different platforms for different purchases as people are very familiar and comfortable with the Vodacom brand as a trusted provider, Yebo Gogo 😀
Well done Vodacom, I’ll be monitoring future developments which I am very excited about.

It takes hours for you the app to send the OTP for email verification, when you get the pin it says it has expired coz it only lasts a max of 300 seconds. Fix this please

Otp glitch

How long does one wait for an otp to appear on their email before the entry expires? Then you have 2 more tries for the day. For a new app, from a telecommunications company. Very sad.
