Description

The PotholeFixGP app has been developed by the Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport to allow members of the public to report potholes on the Gauteng road network. The app is simple to use and enables road users to take a picture of the pothole, record the location and size of the pothole and notify the Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport of the pothole. The app allows users to supply their email addresses should they wish to receive feedback on the progress with the repair of the reported potholes. Users can also view the status of the pothole on a public facing dashboard. The road network in Gauteng comprises provincial roads, SANRAL roads, and municipal roads. The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport is responsible for provincial roads and will repair potholes reported on provincial roads. Potholes reported on SANRAL, and municipal roads will be referred to the relevant authority for action.

App NOT working!

At this rate, Rand Airport Road will never get fixed because this app keeps giving an error 500/400 when trying to upload pictures.

We’re being taken for a ride by EVERYONE, including the developers of this app! A total waste of data &time 😡

APP REPORT ERROR

App looks very promising in sorting out pothole issues, just one ISSUE.

When I want to post a pothole, it comes up with an error code of “HTTP STATUS ERROR 400”.

hHave tried rebooting device, still no luck.
