Too much AI automation
My account got suspended and so did everything linked to it including business assets. This was after it was hacked and I recovered the account then facebook wrongfully suspended my account. I tried to appeal- the AI said I’m not who I am even though I provided ID and video verification that matches about 18 years worth of photos on my profile. Then I contact support - and you guessed it- another bot that “understands how frustrating is it” and I could not get my account back and anything linked to it . It’s permanently suspended for violating community guidelines somehow and it’s a decision that cannot be reversed. Don’t download this app until there’s more humans working at meta.

The app is nice itself, I’d recommend it if you are willing to meet some of the weirdest people everrr, most of my experience as a user was an encounter with weird people especially in my dms, people can be really weirddd in this app in the most cringy uncomfortable wayy, some may not tolerate that and think it’s just too much, and I also don’t think it’s a safe app especially for kids, they could be vulnerable to grooming and all that stuff because even I myself in my late teens, almost always became a victim of it if I weren’t not naive

The latest update is positively awful and a huge step backwards.
Updates usually bring improvements and new innovations.
You have removed the user’s choices and ability to be creative.
The FB app was a wonderful platform to express creativity, opinions and artistry. Now it’s just for mindless sheep.
Not everyone wants instant gratification and reels and single photos and one video at a time.
Why stop the ability to use mixed media. Why prevent the user from saving a post as a draft?
If we want simple we can use snap chat or insta. Or simply post one photo of one video. But it should be our choice!
Keep the choices for a varied and interesting experience.

Terrible service
I spent 5 nights at this establishment. When I arrived I was given option to share the family cottage with my colleague who was already booked there. I agreed because there was 2 private bedrooms. What happened on the last day had so uncomfortable, I was super livid.
My colleague checked a day before me as per the booking. I returned at night on my last day and the security told me I was moved to another room and that all my belongings has been moved. I have never been so uncomfortable. Like who does that. I was not informed, just moved. I had to triple check my back as I could not find a few of items.
In the morning, I wanted to bath, guess what??? I didn’t know where my washing rag and underwear was. We went around looking for them and eventually found them. This was such an inconvenience and I would NEVER recommend anyone to book here.

Notifications
The notifications don’t take you to the comment you need to respond to. “Most relevant” comments are automatically selected and that shouldn’t be the case. When a post has many comments and “most relevant” is selected, it takes me ages to find the response or whatever someone has mentioned me on. It’s worse on the videos, clicking the notification for a response doesn’t take you to the response directly which is so annoying.
I don’t know why you guys changed the search options to only show pictures and videos, it’s so annoying when searching for posts that’s have words not just pictures

Overall Facebook experience
We’ve come a long way Facebook and myself. When I look back the journey started good enjoyed having Facebook and being active on it. Fast forward to present time I am very pleased with my decision to join Facebook because now as it evolves that includes me as well there’s a lot of great changes Facebook brought up upon developing it, alot of activities to do and it’s more live and modernised with the AI technology which is fantastic so I am very happy to be part of the facebook community 😃

Hacked page and locked account.
My page got hacked and after reporting that my account got hacked I tried reaching out to Facebook for support some agent called me and we were on a call for over 30 minutes he kept on asking me to share my screen and nothing he helped me with.
That time I have Meta verified subscription which is supposed to “protect” my identity and give me support anytime. The next morning my parent account which is the host of the page that got hacked was then locked by Facebook I tried reaching out nothing happens that time Facebook just took the money that I pay for my meta verified subscription so basically I pay for nothing, I’m being robbed by Facebook and Meta or whatever.
I’m so very sad and disappointed.

Frustrating Comment Reply System
As a creator, responding to comments on Facebook is much harder compared to my other platforms. Whenever I start replying, it automatically scrolls back to the top. Even if I’m answering the 20th comment, I have to scroll all the way down again. At first, I thought it was just me, but then I tried using the professional dashboard to respond, and it’s still the same issue.
Honestly, it’s very discouraging, and I dread having to reply to comments because of this. If this could be improved, it would make things so much easier for creators like me.

Marketplace Ad Issue.
Hello, I’ve been trying to post an ad on the Facebook app for the past 3 days however every time i try and post an ad, it’ll say publishing but then it’ll just say “Could Not Publish” I’ve tried to use various pictures, tried different methods to post the ad, deleted the app and re-installed it, reported to Support however got no response, I used to use this app daily however it’s just being buggy and becoming a nuisance at this point.

The bias with regard to action is reprehensible. I can have antisemitic or rather, Jew-hating, comments or posts that I report and lo and behold, I get informed they’re NOT AGAINST community standards. I get insults based on my ethnicity/religion or called derogatory names that I report and guess what, again, NOT AGAINST those mythical community standards. Yet, G-d forbid we share news or highlight the plight with photos (NEWS FOOTAGE) of the hostages being held in Gaza, lo and behold, THOSE are against them mythical standards.
Dangerous organisations or the best yet, cybersecurity threats!! Say WHAT???!! I also get spammed with AI supposed suffering in Gaza. People with extra digits for example. Really??? I don’t want to see that nonsense. I don’t like to be spammed with nonsense I don’t wish to see. I am a fully functioning adult, intellectually and otherwise. DO NOT DECIDE for me what I should see. Your algorithms are decidedly off-kilter. And biased.

Extremely Disappointed — Account Blocked for No Reason
I’ve been using Facebook for years, but recently my account was suddenly blocked without any clear explanation. I didn’t violate any rules, yet I’ve been completely locked out. Even worse, my original account also refuses to log in — no matter what I try.
I’ve looked online and it turns out I’m not alone. Many users are reporting the same issue, and Facebook offers little to no support to fix it. It’s incredibly frustrating to lose access to years of memories, contacts, and pages I manage, with no help from the platform.
For a company this large, the customer service is shockingly poor. Until they start respecting their users and offering proper support, I absolutely do not recommend this app.

Unstable update!
I’m generally over the hype of Facebook for some years now… It’s served its purpose to connect with old friends and family for years and to find information at your fingertips and to create your own blank canvass to express your thoughts, music and experiences etc. I’ve toned down due to the invasion of privacy and oversharing which can cause personal issues, which makes me prefer to be off the grid most of the time. FB is a perfect advertising experience for business otherwise.

Issue after issue
I used to have Facebook roughly a year ago, but after a week or two of someone attempting to hack into my profile I deleted my account. I’ve downloaded Facebook again recently, sent a 5-7 friend requests over a few days, declined a dodgy profiles friend request today, a few hours later and my account is suspended, I went through the process to recover my account, come back a few hours later and my account has been disabled, for not following community guidelines ? Whilst the only thing I’ve done is send friend requests, decline one person, and post my profile picture which is the furthest thing from breaking community guidelines. Honestly I have no words…

Constantly freezes whilst using the app
Absolutely pathetic usability experience since the introduction of meta. Why the hell would we even want ai in this app. Absolutely pointless if you ask me. It would be best if you gave users the option to switch meta off or on at our discretion then force it upon us. It really spoils the seamless experience that we used to enjoy because now the app constantly freezes multiple times whilst using it. If you can’t get it right then I foresee many migrating away from Facebook to the better run Chinese apps. Facebook is falling behind and fast compared to up and coming competition. Furthermore stop spying on us and sensoring pro Palestinian posts. Majority of the world hates Israel and your bias in this regard will cost Facebook dearly in this regard.

Condoning Scams and catfishing
There is an increase in the number of scammers and even when reporting it FB rejects the complaint. These thieves, conmen and fake profilers get people to go offline (into Messenger) to avoid the FB scanners to see their scam. Once in the safe space of Messenger they try their con. Most cons I have experienced have been through so called Art Gallery Pages. These in particularly are contaminated with fake profiles and fake identities stolen from people on Facebook that are probably ignorant of people stealing their images. I have done tons of research into this activity and Facebook (Meta) does nothing but perpetuate scamsters! Do something please, or should I get Elon involved?

To much censorship of the message of our friends.
Facebook was started as a social media platform for people to communicate with their friends and to interact with their friend’s posts. But now over 90% of content we see on our walls and timelines is short videos that are fed to us by Facebook from pages we don’t follow.
As a result, we hardly see posts of our friends anymore, this is why we now spend less time on Facebook and more time on X and even WhatsApp where we can debate with our friends and peers instead of being bombarded by videos of unknown sources. The videos Facebook bombards us with are not educational and of not real value. This must change.
As mother issue is you censor any educational problack content to advance Neo-colonial and right wing anti-black philosophy so as black people we learn nothing from Facebook and can not advance our grievances through Facebook.

This is the worst apps in the world
I spend hours making posts just for them to get rejected for no reason with a penalty on my account 😡. I am just trying to sell my stuff on this app because I am leaving my country and it flagged my post on marketplace because of the brand’s slight affiliation to weapons, the brands are peli they make hard cases for equipment that some people use to hold guns but they weren’t made just for guns, then a trigger stick that I used for a camera. It is insane I would not really anyone use this app to sell anything, because instead of employing real humans that can actually do a job and feed their families they have a robot scan your post incorrectly and now I have a warning and penalty for a rule I never even broke.

Poorly designed settings interface
Meta needs to reevaluate the settings interface for FB, it is very hard to find a specific setting when navigating the app even when searching for it online. I tried deleting old accounts that I had created and no longer needed which took me forever to figure out because each account had different ways to delete the account in settings (both in the mobile app and on the web).
Other than that it’s a good app for networking and staying in contact with friends and family that have relocated to other parts of the world.

Fake accounts, Pretending to be me
Numerous fake accounts have been made , using my pictures and acting as though it was me. I have reported the account numerous times. Got all my followers/friends to report the account as a fake account and acting as someone else. However I got an in-app support message saying that my report has been reviewed and the fake account would not be taken down and that the fake account doesn’t go against Community Standards, which is odd because creating fake accounts and using people’s photos(catfishing) SHOULD be against those so called ‘community standards’. It doesn’t make sense to give an option to report someone for pretending to be someone else and then later not do anything about it

As the title says, I absolutely detests this feature of the new version of this app. It annoys me so much I decided to come write this review and unfortunately I had to give it at least one star.
Not to mention it is impossible to find a “tagged in” comment made on a video by clicking on the notification received. It instead takes you to the video and leave you to search through all the millions of comments yourself.
Their lack of support, safety and security is also a big problem. With scammers everywhere, using you or your family’s photos to create fake profiles in an attempt to scam other people pretending to be you.

Review of FB
Thanks for FB as it has opened up worlds for family and friends across the Globe. It is also great for businesses and all the access to coaches like Dr Ramani, Mel Robins and Martha Beck to name a view. You are actually assisting in wellness and mental health apart from helping entrepreneurs.
The structure of this might need refinement. If you need help with this I am great with creating order out of chaos.
What can you improve - if we want to report harassment the options are restrictive and limited especially where people are imposters or in cases of animal abuse. You should allow the FB complainant a space to state their case. These posts should not be allowed and your people need to look out for this. We could clearly see the bots and imposters but on review your people stated there is nothing wrong.
Please be mindful of this as well as fun animal clips might be an animal in captivity who has to do these tricks. Let’s please protect our animals from media exploitation and be awake for imposters.

Violating Community Standards
I wish Facebook and Meta will have a process in place where your post goes into a holding area and an algorithm can determine if the post goes against community standards, before human intervention and the opportunity to retract a post. Because an algorithm cannot understand that when you are sharing a post of someone else that is advising you on what the difference is between an authentic Adidas Kit and a replica Kit, produced with different techniques and fabric from Adidas itself. And sharing it in Football groups where people can appreciate an understanding to the difference. You get flagged for trying to sell counterfeit goods. But the post is about the brand itself and the differences between its replica kits and Authentic kits made by Adidas themselves.

Algoritmes and blocking of accounts
I is unheard of to block someone’s account and you have no inside to what the reason for this is, you can see what the reason for removing post were. You even get blocked for liking peoples comments, it is absurd. Then you also get marginalised if a simple bread recipe with all of this your post go down on the algorithm list.
Even if Facebook state that you have 6,000k followers it is the normal 20 who see the post and react on it.

Finding your original comment
When commenting on a post along with hundreds of other people and being notified about someone else commenting on your comment. Facebook automatically only show you “top comments”, this isn’t all of the comments only the ones the app feels is important. Which means you cannot see all the previous comments to see what the context is about, which means that you don’t know exactly what the conversation is about and can’t make a valid reply. In order to select “all comments” you have to ho back to the original post and then it is next to impossible to find the comment you wanted to reply on…
Why can’t facebook do us all a favour and leave “show all comments” as the default option

IMPORTANT: annoying issues with private group membership
I manage a private group for my small business and approved nearly 60 new requests in one day, however when I checked my insights page it showed that all the accepted members were blocked. But I never blocked them. When all those requests came through at once, I clicked "approve all" assuming it would automatically add people to the group without any issues, but apparently not. the membership count also does not update when new people (miraculously) are approved without a problem.
I have been trying to reach out to customer service and support, but nobody has reached back out. As a small business owner who needs the engagement, this is very frustrating.

Censorship and promoting fake news
Censorship is getting absolutely ridiculous now. More and more content is being blurred out showing much only subtitles. Yet at the same time the quality of adverts, marketing and news are so bad it’s basically anything goes as long as Meta makes money. Adverts reported aren’t even after being removed, just removed from ones feed but the scam still continues on friends and family profiles.
This platform may be enjoyed by many, but most of us will change if something better comes along.
Posting this in the hopes that Facebook/Meta will one day stop selling out. You were once great, but will we all need to leave before change will come?

The app is user friendly and can connect you with variety of people which makes it easy to build a community based on your preference and post pictures sharing your greatest moments with them. Furthermore on the recommendation talking for most people using the app we’ve been complaining about just one thing, which is picture quality after uploading we/I request that this matter should be attended.

Scammers on Facebook Market
I have reported absolute fraudulent scams on Facebook market place. These guys have repeatedly scammed people out of money to buy “reposed cars”. This is a blatant scam. The online report function is automated and not able to actually investigate and it never gets sorted. All the time these scammers operate without consequence in a long running scam. Some have been active for years. After this is reported and someone loses money surely Facebook should take some responsibility as they are now accomplices in this due to the fact that there are a number of cases where people are scammed and after being reported the scammers are still allowed to operate on Facebook market. There is no one to actually contact to investigate at Facebook. Some of the scammer are “sponsored links” or paid ads. That means Facebook makes money while allowing these scammer to continue.

Facebook has frozen on one of my pages.
I have entered one of my pages to access the daily feed. I am now stuck on that page and unable to access my second page and base profile on Facebook. Since the pages are business related I do need to get into them regularly to access the business and respond to my client responses. There has been a Facebook upgrade and an Apple upgrade since this problem occurred on Friday 23 Feb 2024 neither upgrades have helped the situation.

2FA locked out account
My account of many years has gone to waste because I was hacked and had 2FA enabled. Now I cannot go back in because I do not have the codes my account was linked to my instagram which is operational; can they not use the working account to authenticate myself as the rightful owner as I have uploaded my ID and apparently the app was unlocked however because of 2FA I get stuck.
Facebook needs to create a live chat platform honestly because I’ve got years of memories on this account with people who’ve sadly departed and used to find comfort in reading our engagements.
I still have access to my details to retrieve my account but oh well Facebook is just Facebook.

Why Facebook is diminishing
Facebook was created to bring communities together, which it initially succeeded in doing. Then it’s revenue model based on selling our data to advertisers began to dominate the algorithms, which pushed sensational posts to generate engagement, resulting in echo chambers that became more and more divisive and polarising. Consequently the government stepped in demanding that Facebook cooled down the rhetoric, censorship and shadow banning ensued, choking voices that they did not like.
I have found that the algorithm is choking longer articles and references of articles. It pushes short memes.
Subsequently Facebook genuine opinions, original content by my friends has diminished while advertising and clickbait has increased. Resulting in less participation and Facebook becoming boring and mundane.

My review
I use marketplace often but it doesn’t work well, especially the messaging. I have a notification that I have 35 unread messages which I have been trying to open and read for ages but it doesn’t work.
Then I would like to understand how the rating works. As a buyer why can I not see how I get rated? Why do I only see the seller’s rating sometimes but not all the time. It’s important to me to see the rating because I have been scammed by some sellers and would like to avoid doing business with dishonest people.

Locked Out Account and the ID Verification Not working
My account was locked because someone tried to hack into it. I have 2FA on however it is still not helping me regain my account. If you try on the website to do ID verification is switched off and uploading ID in the mobile app is also not working.
The livechat support is not helpful at all and the if you continue trying to get help they block you from using the feature apparently you should not use to feature fast.
Please may you fix this, we have been using facebook for many years I have over 14years worth of memories on the app and I use the account for my work. This really inconveniences me because I am able to the account is mine but there is no one there to assist, from support and the application is failing to do an upload on the verification

Hacked on Instagram, Disabled on Facebook No Support!
I was hacked on Instagram, by a profile that somehow linked to mine, without my knowledge and without Instagram warning or informing, or blocking me. Then Facebook Disabled my account because it said “my” linked profile on Instagram goes against Community standards. I was able to delete and report the offending profile on Instagram but can’t get any support to explain my Facebook was wrongfully disabled. I’ve been on Facebook since it had only 4 million users. Never an infringement, never a warning. 14 years of photos and writing is gone and all I get to do is go around and around in circles, with an endless collection of articles and no support. Facebook makes billions but is too cheap to hire people to perform customer support. Facebook also doesn’t have any real plan for the non-stop hacking and fake profiles. It’s time to accept: Facebook is not a secure platform and it’s unsafe to have the app and use it to log into other apps.

Unable to sign in after resetting device
I have one Facebook account and it feel that Facebook is now forcing me to create another as I cannot access my account since resetting my phone. I have tried everything and continuous load up my ID document but it just doesn’t go through and I keep finding myself back at square 1, having to go through the whole process again.

It has been 3 months since my account of 15years as been deleted! I have emailed facebook 7times to proof that I was hacked providing also the hacker's profile of me. I don't now what to do anymore? I’ll rate this Facebook app 5 huge stars if you guys can fix 2 things on it. 1. On the USER PROFILE add “Service” category for people volunteering in political and charity organizations because we are not employed we are serving. And “unemployed” for those who are looking for work. 2. PLEASE 🙏 add “sort” on news feed 🏠tab so we can at least view posts as per our preferences. This thing of choosing for us the posts that you guys think we want to see is frustrating we miss important recent posts only to see a post from 3 days ago that has lost momentum. To a point to end my life
I worked very hard to build my business & pages since 2009. My email address was hacked and from there the hacker changed my password.
I am at a dead end and don't get any answers from meta why they don't keep their customers accounts safe. I cant login to change my password. NO HELP whatsoever. The owner of this company obviously do not care about the consumer. Without us you would of been nothing today.
I am at such a point that i am giving up on life. I cannot start all over again. I lost all my personal memories with family & friends that were in my profile. How can i ever replace this and i have no memory of it due to a car accident. My memories made my day. Now i do not even want to get out of my bed. I hope that you and your company will take responsibility of how you treat people.

Account got hacked and now my Facebook is disabled
I have been struggling more than a week to get back onto my account after being hacked. I went through the options to enable my account but has been in review for so long now and I have no clue who to contact or what to do. I use Facebook for business purposes which resulted in me losing a part of my business for more than a week! No one to help and no one to contact. BE AWARE!! If your account gets compromised, you will not get help from facebook. I am at a point where I want to join the million other people that deleted there Facebook as it’s getting outdated anyway. Just sad that I am losing all my old memories and pictures that I have stored on Facebook. Really really really disappointed!!!!!

Very unstable app, poorly designed.
The app keeps crashing when viewing marketplace items. A third of the screen is wasted on some strange search thing that lists a few friends and some active groups. Gestures work differently in different parts of the app: Swipe right for ‘go back’ works in marketplace but not in news feed. You can scroll by touching the screen to the left of the news feed but in marketplace, you have to touch the content itself, etc…

Using too much data
Facbook is using over 100MB just by being on it for 5 minutes. They really should provide a data save mode for facbook that can allow us to view picture in lower quality. They should also consider bringing in facebook Free mode because data is too expensive in developing countries.... I'm seriously considering deleting facbook for good because the amount of data it use in a day is crazy. Fix this!

Was locked out of my account , Facebook wouldn’t give me the option of using my current email and cell number to get the verification codes , they used my old details which I actually deleted . I then sent them a picture of my id and they said I had been verified and that I could access my account again, and I still CANNOT ! the only way you can get actually “human” help is by paying for it ? Highly disgusted that you have to pay for help when it was facebook’s fault ? They disabled my account , they didn’t give reason , they used my incorrect credentials, knowing that I use other details . And still cannot access my account - i work off facebook . Can’t login because of 2-Factor Authentication
I’ve tried for two days now to login into my personal Facebook account. The 2FA doesn’t work, I don’t receive codes. There’s no help or support from Facebook. I’ve done everything that has been advised. Still nothing. I have work and reporting to do. What now? Why are you so problematic? Why do you have no support? This is above and beyond ridiculous. Censors users regularly and deletes pages for no reason
I can’t count how many times this app has censored me for the most trivial things. About 3 months ago they completely deleted one of my Facebook pages for supposedly posting content that goes against their terms of use. A few days later they sent me a message saying they got it wrong and that the post DID in fact follow their community standards. You think this would mean I would get my Facebook page back? Think again! The overlords Facebook didn’t deem it necessary to reinstate a page I spent years building, despite admitting that they themselves made a mistake

Reason for rating of Facebook
I was a religious Facebook fan but some time ago i closed my account and deleted the app because of the blatant racism and bias shown against African and other non- European or non- white American causes. The anti-Palestinian and pro Israeli occupation, colonialist agenda was quite remarkable. Using the anti-Semitic accusation to justify some of the blatant racism, fascism, colonialism and violation of international law aside, the inhumane, vulgar and insensitive nature of what one could see is unacceptable. Looking at the current experience of Facebook users I am in contact with on other forms of social media in light of the current situation in the Middle East I feel vindicated in my decision to close my account. The app is too biased and discriminatory as well as irrelevant to the current times.

Very bad problem solving and they are useless!!!
They expect you to so love your own problems rather than helping you. Once you confirm a review they pop up with a message of rules and confirm that they can not reopen your account. Now keep in mind I just opened an account for 2 days and they said that my account goes against rules although I did not post anything at all!!! This company is extremely rude to their consumers and do not follow protocols to full extent!!! They decided to delete my account although I did not do anything and when I try to redeem my account they said they can’t help me??? But isn’t this your application??? Isn’t this your job to let people do reviews so YOU can help?? Then why waste peoples time when you are not going to help???

Facebook market glitch
I have been using Facebook market to sell coffee tables and I have been doing very well and get a lot of inquiries. However Facebook as decided to block me for answering customer messages because of influx of enquires . It blocks me claiming that it’s trying to avoid spam which then is bas for my business cause I land up only being able to reply after 24 hours . The help center is USELESS
The help center is completely USELESS! I have been reporting an issue with Facebook for more than a month and I have not received confirmation that the report was sent, or whether it is something they can’t fix.. I have tried the help center, I have tried the community help center, support groups on facebook, even tried to contact CEO out of desperation. Still absolutely nothing. Why have this feature available on the app if you are not attending to problems reported? My facebook business page is unavailable for me to edit, yet I am the only admin (used to be? Because FB decided my page doesn’t need an admin? )and the owner of the page. I can only view my page as a client and cannot post anything to the page. Have also tried to report the page to be removed so that I can start afresh(I don’t really want to) but still nothing from Facebook as if the reports were not received. Don’t bother reporting app problems, they don’t care!

Rubbish app for ipad
This app is absolutely rubbish for ipad. I really expected more from such a large company. I don’t know if its rivalry or just plain spitefullness towards apple products. Notifications don’t open on the correct post. It never has on ipad. When an update becomes available, then facebook seems to become extra annoying if you don't update immediately. Google products are the worst and needs constant updating because its always broken. As soon as things are working ok, then an update changes a lot of things. I wish they would stick to things that work, don’t fix it if its broken. Google, the annoying millions of updates company.

Please fix your app. Your latest update has done nothing but frustrate me. It doesn’t display notifications properly, if many people have shared a post and click “See more” to see everyone that has shared that post, it doesn’t load anything. Just stays a blank gray screen.
