I wish there were less ads. The ads are everywhere. Tried watching a 15 minute video and there were 8 ads disrupting my video. Can't even say which ads showed cause I kept my eye on the timer counting down the seconds till I can go back and watch my video in peace for another minute before being bombarded with another one.
Also, the Settings IA is terrible. I had to watch tutorials and read articles just to figure out where I can update my password. The UX could be a lot better.

My account was locked because someone tried to hack into it. I have 2FA on however it is still not helping me regain my account. If you try on the website to do ID verification is switched off and uploading ID in the mobile app is also not working.
The livechat support is not helpful at all and the if you continue trying to get help they block you from using the feature apparently you should not use to feature fast.
Please may you fix this, we have been using facebook for many years I have over 14years worth of memories on the app and I use the account for my work. This really inconveniences me because I am able to the account is mine but there is no one there to assist, from support and the application is failing to do an upload on the verification

Please can the business page notifications stop appearing with the personal page notifications, keep them separate.

I was hacked on Instagram, by a profile that somehow linked to mine, without my knowledge and without Instagram warning or informing, or blocking me. Then Facebook Disabled my account because it said “my” linked profile on Instagram goes against Community standards. I was able to delete and report the offending profile on Instagram but can’t get any support to explain my Facebook was wrongfully disabled. I’ve been on Facebook since it had only 4 million users. Never an infringement, never a warning. 14 years of photos and writing is gone and all I get to do is go around and around in circles, with an endless collection of articles and no support. Facebook makes billions but is too cheap to hire people to perform customer support. Facebook also doesn’t have any real plan for the non-stop hacking and fake profiles. It’s time to accept: Facebook is not a secure platform and it’s unsafe to have the app and use it to log into other apps.

On the USER PROFILE add “Service” category for people volunteering in political and charity organizations because we are not employed we are serving. And “unemployed” for those who are looking for work. 2. PLEASE 🙏 add “sort” on news feed 🏠tab so we can at least view posts as per our preferences. The comments filter is set to relevant by default, a setting which decides for me what it thinks is relevant in the topics. Unfortunately it is always not correct and in the instances of following up on a reply via notifications, some replies are filtered by default and it’s impossible to adjust the filter. In short please make the default filter ‘All comments’ cause the current default filter settings make life with Facebook unnecessarily hard. I can’t keep having to adjust the filter it’s tiring, why did you introduce it to begin with? Sad.

I worked very hard to build my business & pages since 2009. My email address was hacked and from there the hacker changed my password.
I am at a dead end and don't get any answers from meta why they don't keep their customers accounts safe. I cant login to change my password. NO HELP whatsoever. The owner of this company obviously do not care about the consumer. Without us you would of been nothing today.

I have been struggling more than a week to get back onto my account after being hacked. I went through the options to enable my account but has been in review for so long now and I have no clue who to contact or what to do. I use Facebook for business purposes which resulted in me losing a part of my business for more than a week! No one to help and no one to contact. BE AWARE!! If your account gets compromised, you will not get help from facebook. I am at a point where I want to join the million other people that deleted there Facebook as it’s getting outdated anyway. Lately on cannot report spam ads and spam comments to group admins. Once you click on report and you select spam it just hangs. The app doesn’t work further and hangs indefinitely. One has to force close the app and restart before you can use the app again, if you report spam again, same story. This is for any group and not a specific one.

The app keeps crashing when viewing marketplace items. A third of the screen is wasted on some strange search thing that lists a few friends and some active groups. Gestures work differently in different parts of the app: Swipe right for ‘go back’ works in marketplace but not in news feed. You can scroll by touching the screen to the left of the news feed but in marketplace, you have to touch the content itself, etc…

Do you know what would make Facebook and Instagram even better? Is if the apps were able to auto rotate! Think about how faulty smart phone screens can be... If we had the autorotate option, we could flip our screens sideways or upside down so that we could still access all functions, no matter how faulty phones become. I personally have used Facebook and Instagram LESS, whenever my phone is faulty, because there is no autorotate functionality 😢 It is sooooo limiting and frustrating.

You guys are too focused on using peoples data and not putting enough effort into your actual app. Where is the customer service? It’s NON EXISTENT. What are these minor bugs you guys are fixing because it’s never the problems I actually hear about. Ive reported numerous bullying comments, people fat shaming, calling people drug addicts, saying horrible things and you keep saying it doesn’t go against guidelines?
And somehow hiding posts related to certain hashtags like save our children.
There needs to be a way to deactivate messenger, some of us don’t want it. Add a feature so we can select multiple conversations because I want to ignore all conversations since I can’t deactivate messenger entirely. Update your privacy settings to give people more options, like an “only allow messages from these people” list perhaps. The reviews for Facebook are terrible and a lot of people are saying the same things and you guys are just ignoring it.

It’s amazing how fb is fast in disabling an account and you send them a review and they never come back nor respond to you. Fb is unable to figure out if your account was hacked or not. Its high time that someone create a new app and we all move from fb to that new app.
To be honest, it doesn’t even deserve a single star, and if there was none I could have chose none. I’m highly disappointed in such a big company with useless service. I wouldn’t be surprised if Meta as a whole has 10 employees including the CEO.

This iPhone app no longer works properly. It can take over an hour to reflect notifications. It used to work but FaceBook appear to have broken it. if i had 10 cents for everytime i was on marketplace and it glitched me out of the app ever 3 minutes i would be rich. It literally switches my ipad completely off, closing all my apps, tabs and what i was even looking at on facebook. Im so frustrated. I deleted and redownloaded it several times but NOTHING. Not to mention that the help centre doesnt even help regarding this issue i adressed as well as the fact that it says that i cant get marketplace yet due to it not being available in my country or not having facebook long enough. Was locked out of my account , Facebook wouldn’t give me the option of using my current email and cell number to get the verification codes , they used my old details which I actually deleted . I then sent them a picture of my id and they said I had been verified and that I could access my account again, and I still CANNOT ! the only way you can get actually “human” help is by paying for it ? Highly disgusted that you have to pay for help when it was facebook’s fault ? They disabled my account , they didn’t give reason , they used my incorrect credentials, knowing that I use other details . And still cannot access my account - i work off facebook . I haven’t been able to work the whole afternoon , thx facebook

I can’t count how many times this app has censored me for the most trivial things. About 3 months ago they completely deleted one of my Facebook pages for supposedly posting content that goes against their terms of use. A few days later they sent me a message saying they got it wrong and that the post DID in fact follow their community standards. You think this would mean I would get my Facebook page back? Think again! The overlords Facebook didn’t deem it necessary to reinstate a page I spent years building, despite admitting that they themselves made a mistake
This app think it’s users are jokes and not to be taken seriously.
You guys need some serious serious attention towards client information and what is happening.

Good evening, my phone was accessed by someone unknown and he got access to all my personal information through FB, messenger and Instagram, I’m sorry but I will never use your apps again, that person who hacked my accounts took personal information that was not meant to be shared, please take note that I have deleted FB from my device, messenger aswell and I’ve disconnected my link of FB and insta

Trying to report that I can’t report false information. False information reporting option just freezes when you have to select health etc.
Shook phone to report and nothing ( even though that option is selected). Went to helpdesk to report and it’s frozen and nothing loading.

I was a religious Facebook fan but some time ago i closed my account and deleted the app because of the blatant racism and bias shown against African and other non- European or non- white American causes. The anti-Palestinian and pro Israeli occupation, colonialist agenda was quite remarkable. Using the anti-Semitic accusation to justify some of the blatant racism, fascism, colonialism and violation of international law aside, the inhumane, vulgar and insensitive nature of what one could see is unacceptable. Looking at the current experience of Facebook users I am in contact with on other forms of social media in light of the current situation in the Middle East I feel vindicated in my decision to close my account. The app is too biased and discriminatory as well as irrelevant to the current times.

Most of us would opt for a new social media platform ina heartbeat but we know you own most of it and we will continue supporting and standing up for human rights no matter how hard you try to shut us up. I really hate Facebook at the moment because each and every 2 days I have to update it. I don’t know what happening but whatever that is happening you guys should fix it. If my mobile data is depleted this app will need an update if I reload mobile data. Even if my data are depleted in the morning then i reload them in the afternoon the app will need an update so I think you guys need to fix this.

They expect you to so love your own problems rather than helping you. Once you confirm a review they pop up with a message of rules and confirm that they can not reopen your account. Now keep in mind I just opened an account for 2 days and they said that my account goes against rules although I did not post anything at all!!! This company is extremely rude to their consumers and do not follow protocols to full extent!!! They decided to delete my account although I did not do anything and when I try to redeem my account they said they can’t help me??? But isn’t this your application??? Isn’t this your job to let people do reviews so YOU can help?? Then why waste peoples time when you are not going to help???

So when I report posts where people in my community are called pigs and are said to be killed fb says it does not relate to hate speech but when I call someone dumb sppardntly that is hate speech? I live in a country where hate speech has resulted in apartheid, cruelty and violence. It has resulted in people being killed. The help center is completely USELESS! I have been reporting an issue with Facebook for more than a month and I have not received confirmation that the report was sent, or whether it is something they can’t fix.. I have tried the help center, I have tried the community help center, support groups on facebook, even tried to contact CEO out of desperation. Still absolutely nothing. Why have this feature available on the app if you are not attending to problems reported? My facebook business page is unavailable for me to edit, yet I am the only admin (used to be? Because FB decided my page doesn’t need an admin? )and the owner of the page. I can only view my page as a client and cannot post anything to the page. Have also tried to report the page to be removed so that I can start afresh(I don’t really want to) but still nothing from Facebook as if the reports were not received. Don’t bother reporting app problems, they don’t care!

Got another security check, probably cause my VPN again, but through this particular process it now states to “unlink” anything that I myself haven’t linked, but there’s literally nothing to even select and therefore to unlink? Yet the page just sits like that, can’t skip that step but there also isn’t anything to unlink? What’s the point cause now I’m locked out of my account indefinitely and the only way to get real customer support is through Facebook or if you have a business page but still then need access to the account to start communication and get help but how do you achieve this if you CANNOT ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT⁉️⁉️

This app is absolutely rubbish for ipad. I really expected more from such a large company. I don’t know if its rivalry or just plain spitefullness towards apple products. Notifications don’t open on the correct post. It never has on ipad. When an update becomes available, then facebook seems to become extra annoying if you don't update immediately. Google products are the worst and needs constant updating because its always broken. As soon as things are working ok, then an update changes a lot of things. I wish they would stick to things that work, don’t fix it if its broken. Google, the annoying millions of updates company.

Please fix your app. Your latest update has done nothing but frustrate me. It doesn’t display notifications properly, if many people have shared a post and click “See more” to see everyone that has shared that post, it doesn’t load anything. Just stays a blank gray screen. It’s so annoying. I’ve never had an issue with Facebook that made me leave any sort of review but honestly I’ve been on Twitter more since this update

Why is it that on my iPhone Facebook App, Newsfeed shows yesterday’s updates but if I access Facebook through Chrome Browser on the same iPhone or from Laptop I get updated newsfeeds. I also see that when ever I post something on Facebook from my Phone App, friends only respond almost a day later.
Im updating the app now hoping that will fix it, but I do not see a function on the app to change my news feeds to most recent...

I don’t know what Facebook is trying to do, but the updates are horrendous. There is no easy access to photo albums. Things are scattered and it’s just not user friendly. If a person uses a social media app, they don’t want to waste their time searching for something, easy access is what every user of this platform needs. With each and every update, Facebook’s rating are going down. 2 weeks ago it was on 3.8 stars, now it’s on 3.3! Stop messing around and trying to be fancy, it’s annoying. So just stop it. And fix where necessary. Easy access is what a user needs. Maybe Facebook needs to get a new team in the development of the app because they are downright useless.

One would like to receive status updates notifications for certain pages, but not all of the pages I liked. Please make those changes it will make a huge difference for some of us who manage pages whose content is based on other pages.
Poor updates - app crashes and gives errors

The most recent updates to the iPad app have had a major impact on the stability. For example, while I can view the marketplace, whenever I tap on a listing I get an error saying an unexpected error occurred. If I click on the retry button provided, the error remains, so it’s impossible for me to view any individual marketplace items. Apart from that, I’ve had several crashes in the past few days where the app just dies. I’ve never had problems with this before and have been using the app for years.

Can’t stand the new update, particularly the style of viewing pictures/videos. If you accidentally like/react to a picture or video, it’s basically impossible to unlike it from the app! Absolutely ridiculous. I had to log in on my laptop and unlike the video from there using the ‘activity log’. What a hassle! And if there is an easier way, why is it so difficult to identify? Also, this new style is also very easy to miss whether you’ve accidentally liked a picture/video. Just not user friendly at all.

Since the last two updates of this app I’m very disappointed with the upgrades because cannot open my photo albums at all. The moment I click on photos Facebook close and I must get back on my normal newsfeed to carry on, I cannot even change my profile photos because ai cannot get to any of my photos. Please fix it because it is truly necessary for me to open my own personal albums, I do have the same problem with my husband’s albums and even though I can open it on my computer and on my iPhone, why cannot I open it on my Ipad?
