No help or support

I placed an online order and did not receive my delivery at the promised date. I have not heard from Zara and have even changed houses since my order was placed. I now need to either change my address for the delivery or cancel the order. No one at Zara has bothered to help me. The help chat on the Zara app uses robots and they don’t help at all. I have never been so frustrated from a lack of service from any company/app. So yourself a favor and don’t bother buying on this app

Delivery standards lowest of the low

8 items ordered on sale on 27 Dec, split order done and 2 items delivered 4 Jan. Full order amount deducted from credit card on 5 Jan. Email sent promising max delivery date on 14 Jan. Contact customer service who promises delivery on 18 Jan. 19 Jan email received “modified order” cancelling undelivered 6 items. Just hoping for shift refund process without a fight.
App is great for convenience but minimum 3 weeks delivery service for most of my orders. Never seen anything like this for online shopping. A damn shame for a global retailer

Problematic Chat Functionality

App is great and easy to use. Chat function is frustrating though. The chats are ended before the problem is finalized due to inactivity but inactivity is caused by agents trying to solve the problem or get mor information.

Improvements

I wish there was a way to view “all” clothes together. If you want to view new clothes, you have to view each category separately (I.e. dresses, skirts, etc). There isn’t a way to just view all the clothes together

Item ordered is different to what was delivered

Zara’s delivery is comparable to that of SAPO. In other words, super slow. Processing takes days, preparation takes a week. You have to wait 2 weeks for an order.

Don’t order online

I ordered online and I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for my items. Delivery was postponed and I was sent an email with a new collection date (I ordered items to be delivered to the V&A store) and still nothing. Terrible service

I ordered jeans on the 6th and they still haven’t arrived, almost a 3 week delivery. They double charged me for the jeans and will only refund the money in two weeks. I do not recommend ordering online from Zara, it’s absolutely a terrible experience. I love Zara’s clothes, but I will definitely never be buying clothes online again. Shocking.

I loved using the app. Delivery took way too long

I loved using the app and the fact that I could find items I liked and the size however it took way too long to get my clothes and I was getting impatient. I ordered from Superbalist the same day and received my order from them in 3 days and it took ZARA 2 weeks to deliver.

IMPROVEMENTS ON DELIVERY

The app is good, but the delivery could be better. It takes weeks, and the package might not even arrive within the stipulated dates.
I’ve also had an issue with a refund on a returned item. I had to keep enquiring only to get my refund processed after a month or so.

Chats disappear

Can’t chat to customer service online properly… if you don’t keep typing for like 5 seconds it ends chat due to inactivity… I left the app to retrieve information I need to upload for the query and it kicks me out the chat completely and I had to start over…

Late!!

I bought a bag online and got a response that it will be delivered within 10 working days. Up until now when I check on shipping status is says still being prepared. The worst part is that you can’t cancel an order once you have already paid. They are frauding a lot of people.

Delivery is terrible!

Poor customer service

The app is good but my problem is the people at their call centre. I noticed that Zara deducted twice for the same order. I went into chat on the app to request for my money to be paid back into my account..the person that was assisting me didn’t even apologise for the inconvenience caused. I think Zara should teach their staff to apologise I notice they don’t, even when my order was delayed they didn’t.. Apologizing to a customer means you taking ownership of the situation and avoiding to apologise means you are not taking ownership of the problem. They will take 10 minutes to reply.

The lack of directions. I purchased my item and somehow the retracted but amount out of my account twice. I tried cancelling my purchase twice and both times it was rejected. And this is not only happened to me it is happened to me before that I know. I purchased an item and the app estimated about 10 days to delivery and yet my item has not been packaged even though the store is in the same city as I am. Chats closed in middle of conversations

My chats have been closed, not giving me one second to respond while we were in the middle of arrangements. I need to find the product reference code to type it, which I had earlier on in the chat. It got asked again and I searched for it again and then the chat got closed after one second. This happened to me multiple times before as well. It seems that the customer service is only there to get paid per hour and not actually to resolve clients questions.

ABSURD DELIVERY DELAY

Your courier company (Aramex) is so unreliable and this has a negative impact on the Zara brand. This other time I received my parcel after 3 full weeks.
The delay was extremely daunting as I would have to unnecessarily work from home is expectation for the delivery that would be cancelled for no reason.

Order never received and on App it’s delivered

I’ve place the order online and on the 28 it was shipped same day it updated delivered on the website but I never got my order and suspiciously it says it was delivered on the 23september but I received the shipping email on the 28september
I payed R1699 for something I didn’t receive,I’ve tried emailing them no response,chat is worse you chat with Rahul which I think it’s just automated machine because the chat doesn’t go anywhere and no questions answered.
I’m so disappointed,angry and frustrated as I have used zara online shopping platform several times and my cellphone number and adress have not changed.
This is not the first incident last year my order took weeks to reach me and still no one was responding.

Poor communication

This app allows no real customer service. Nowhere is there a contact number that you can call to actually talk to someone. I ordered an item that never came and there is only the “chat” option or email option but with neither of them will you get any real help. The chat just tells you that your case is being looked at and that you can expect an email giving you an update within 3-5 business days and then nothing happens after that.
Zara has no intention to help you and it is not even possible to use the app to refund or cancel an order that never came. So I paid for a product that I never got. This app and Zara’s service is absolutely useless.

I really love the brand and have supported it for years but the one thing about this app that is once you have ordered it take almost 2 weeks to reach you which is crazy considering. If I purchased from China (not zara) for example I would get my goods within the week. Please look at your courier service they take too long and it’s frustrating. Super convenient if you live out of town

Love this App ,the delivery service is fast and it saves me a lot of time and cost from having to travel all the way to waterfront to get my favorite Zara items 🤧😍😍 I can see what’s new anytime absolutely love it I however think it would more efficient if they put in more details about the clothes and shoes like length of the coat , circumference and shaft length of the boot, waist size etc it would make purchasing decisions easier , also not enough brown skin models are seen in the clothes I need to know what a shade will look on my skin if it will compliment it or not . A lot of the models are tall and slim. short, medium , petite and shaped women really lack presentation on this platform . This gap in representation of real life sizes is frustrating in making purchasing decisions

Purely because of your male models. I notice that your models are way younger. I got thinking people their age don’t ordinarily afford your clothes and people my age +40 plus, who have money to buy your clothes and would ordinarily like your clothes are not represented by your models. Sizes

This app looks good and is convenient but for example I was trying to buy a shirt and it won’t let me add a large to my cart even though it said my size is that it just puts in an XL and they don’t tell me if anything is out of stock, I’ve been wanting to make a purchase for a while but each time one of the three items in my cart comes back in stock another goes out, I think I store guide could also help so we can know if all the items we want are at a store, like I’ve said navigating with sizes around the app is very hard and confusing

Dissatisfied with shipping

Poor experience

It is the first and last time I order from Zara online. They have missed delivery dates twice and when you try to enquire about the status of your order, you chat to bots, not real people. Useless data handling

I bought items on 16 Jan 2021. The app said “order being prepared” from 16-27 January. And that it would be ready for collection between 21-28 Jan. I logged in EVER DAY to check this. Today, the day I gave up and was ready to cancel the stupid order, it says “Ready for Collection” and suddenly it also updates the info to say it was ready from 18 Jan. Highly highly frustrating. Not in a rush to buy from ZARA anytime soon again.

Great App - delivery times for online sales atrocious

The App is fantastic.
Pity about the delivery times of online purchases - they are extremely long if all goes well! However if your order gets ‘lost’ that’s another story...the Zara Care online is useless - they will stuff you around from pillar to post, messages take a week to be answered, don’t bother with Twitter they don’t answer those.. I think my last online order will be the last one - rather go to buy at the store, at least when you pay you have your items immediately. Zara if your online facility does not work efficiently - then you should not be charging people money and let them wait for weeks to get their stuff...

A nightmare in South Africa

Horrible customer service. I’ve been sent the wrong items, had my delivery pushed back for weeks, with no reason indicated.
When referring to the chat option on the app, no one is willing to help. They send you back and forth to email and back to the chat, nothing gets resolved and no one takes accountability.
I definitely would not recommend using the app, rather go in to the store, it’s not worth waiting a month for your clothing to arrive.

Hello ZARA SA Online

Received one size 6 and one size 7 shoes.
They claim to have a “STRICT” quality control process but there’s nothing strict about this. Deeply disappointed- I asked to be helped and Scott told me I needed to go in store to exchange. I explained that I tested positive for COVID and he insisted on seeing a document proving my results and that is patronising and lacking compassion. I have been waiting for more than 48 hours to hear from ZARA and still nothing. It’s so unprofessional and stressful especially knowing that they were a gift to someone who had been eyeing them for months. Thanks for nothing guys.

Terrible customer service

I have experienced really bad customer service from the Zara team. My items were scheduled to deliver by the latest today, (and this already being a week wait). I have followed up a few times and there has been no feedback. The email address does not work and no phone nr. Double courier

I went to look for items. When it was time to checkout then it said the item is out of stock so I bought the ones that were in stock. I went in a few minutes later then the item I wanted was back in stock and I had to pay another courier fee. You just have to do better with your delivery. In the past 1 week, I have had deliveries from Reebok, Adidas, Polo and Superbalist in 3-4; while yours takes approximately 14days before delivery. You really need to improve on this if you want to win the e-commerce race. Your products are absolutely amazing but you have to improve on your deliveries.
Also, I would suggest you add more information (like the size model is wearing, model size and height etc) to the items to improve the shopping experience and reduce the rate of returns.

Identification when collecting

problem is instore when collecting online purchases. They request identification. When no where on the app does it state it’s needed upon collection. So can the app please state we need to have it when collecting to avoid an irate customer and and poor customer services .

The app is user friendly. Maybe the team can add a live chat option or an exchange option for the customer to select a product to exchange with then it’s pre-ordered or set aside in store . For them to get it when they return the one they no longer want to avoid missing out due to size availability in store. 😔

Suggestion:
1. Please add other payment methods it’s annoying to put in payment details over and over. 2. Instant EFTs are very efficient and safe like Payfast, Ozow, Ecopays.
3. Maybe add a security feature to log in the app with verification so that payment details can be saved on the profile if you don’t want to adopt the instant EFT payment methods.
4. Speed up delivery, it takes over 14 days to receive an order (im in mossel bay).
5. Please add delivery methods for fast shipping, I have noticed if you pay the delivery fee then the delivery is fast but if you qualify for free delivery then you order will arrive after 65 years.
6. Please communicate with customers, answer emails, calls and online chat, I’ve never been answered at all. Do better.
7. Maybe please also include smaller sizes for pants, like size 28.

Online order

After waiting for way over 3weeks for my order, I received a medium instead of a large size according to the stitches label on the clothing. However, not sure if it is to deceive, but they had attached a large paper tag on the clothing. Is it incompetence or just a lack of attention to detail? Whichever the case, I’m incredibly disappointed for poor service from a well established company.

Worst online service ever!!

I thought Zara had high standards but clearly not!!!
Almost a month ago I did an online purchase, the order was delayed and when I finally collected it I exchanged it for a different size, however the sales lady only gave me a receipt and did not explain anything to me (as I was to get change and paid for the product I bought in-store). The staff had attitude and said I should wait they’ve been investigating the cases for so long now and I still haven’t received my money( which is something I cannot fathom, as Zara is such a reputable brand, while my sister also had to wait extremely long for a big online order but received her refund before I did despite he fact that she exchanged an item after me. I’m extremely disappointed, because no has communicated with even though I have all the proof. I’ll never shop at Zara again even though they sell nice things.
Get your act together, or you’ll end up closing like most foreign brands in South Africa😡.

DELIVERY SERVICE AND STORE ASSISTANCE

Good Day Zara,
I purchased 4 items online, 2 of each to be delivered separate branches. Estimated time of arrive at the branches even expired and still no communication has been sent out. When I tried calling the store for assistance they don’t pick up their phones to assist. At some point even went to the store to check on my purchase delivery but still there was no assistance and they advised me to come back after two days to check.
Please advise why are your online deliveries taking long to arrive then expected?.
One shouldn’t wait more then a week to expect their own merchandise especially when the delivery is dropped at the store.

Ridiculous waiting period

I placed an order on the 19th of June when Sale started and I am still waiting up till now for my order . The status on the app says it was shipped on the 24th however courier has still not collected my order. Tomorrow is the deadline for delivery . I’m not sure how Zara plans on meeting this deadline if the order has not been collected by the courier . Absolutely disappointing ...next time I will just stand in the queue like everyone else in a store ..

Not User Friendly

I find this app very unfriendly. It shows the ETA but it doesn’t show updates on far your item is to delivery. I ordered items 5 days ago and I still have not received any communication whatsoever from Zara on how far my delivery is. Their lead times need to be drastically improved! They are unacceptable. I thought it would be better buying online but this service is time consuming & sluggish. I’m not impressed at all!

Love the app
