bible apps should be free

i thought the main purpose of this app was for individuals to find faith in a dark point in their life, but i didn’t expect to have to pay in order to be closer to god ( and it’s expensive as a south african student)

My 14 year old son downloaded this app a few weeks back and absolutely loved it. I saw a deeper spirit connection in him

Features missing?

Good app. I’ve been using it since early last year while it’s theme was purple. It recently prompted me to update, and I’ve lost the widget feature. I always had a mini-sized verse on the left of my locked screen, and now I can’t add any Bible Chat widgets.
I’m on iOS 16, so if this feature is now for certain iOS versions and is now longer inclusive, it’s a bummer. The widget was the first reason I got this app before trying the other app features.

I find it ridiculous that this app asks people to pay for guidance on their faith. The purpose should be to help people grow closer to God, not to make them feel excluded because they can’t afford the premium package. Spiritual guidance and support on one’s journey with God should be offered freely, without any financial barriers.

Life changing

When I am lazy I go to this app for daily devotions then get intrigued to read more of the word of God. Making me hungry for more wisdom and teaching of the word. I assume your goal is for people to achieve a closer relationship to God, yet you're charging people? Is your goal then to make money or help people?
I understand that there are costs but maybe try to incorporate a free version too that still has the features, or maybe include adds in the free version to counter it? Not everyone can afford the app (I'm a student with exceptionally bad time management skills, and i thought this app could help strengthen my relationship with God, but I'm broke lol), but I think its a pretty cool app though.

Fee Review

The Bible chat is an awesome app. It’s very effective and spot on to whatever question or problem one has but the fee is a bit steep. Great app for depression and anxiety

Everytime i forget where the chapter is I come to this app. I derive words of encouragement, explanations of the word and I enjoy using this app. I love everything about it

Awesome Bible app

This app has reignited my love for the Word of God. I was not reading the Word anymore until a colleague suggested I download this app and I’m glad I did. The app sends daily verses and that encourages me to open the Bible and I can ask 5 questions a day about any topic, or search a bible verse even if I just remember one or two words in that scripture. Awesome!!!🙌
