Crashes a lot , with simple scrolling
It’s rather a dismal display of app quality, if the app crashes simply by scrolling on the Home Screen of listed articles. I’ve tried scrolling slowly and scrolling faster, but it crashes every day.
Also, why not be able to adjust the font in the app?
I use an iPad mini 4th generation. Not sure if one needs a top spec device to read articles.
I have no choice but to switch to safari and browse to medium.com instead of using the app.

Interesting click baiting title with shallow poorly researched article
Some writers (I don’t mean all) trying to sound appealing yet not fully understand situations but because they are entitled to a perspective say all sort of half truths and you can’t get to correct them if you are not a paying member. Sam Young with his not so worthy perspective on “if back lives matter article...Some things just shut up. Yes you can right a good story and take advantage of people’s ignorance of facts but someone of your skill make digital media untrust worthy. Anyway as long as you are all smiling away in your bubble. And getting paid continue clap....clap.

How to add a star or two
Medium is for me a 5 satrt read. However there is, I feel, room for an extra star in the form of some form of editorializing. Typically a great and credible publication not only provides for many voices but pulls them together in a web of meaning and context. Goos sober editorial content that considers the interplay and backgrounds to the varied articles will raise your media cred.

Excellent content, but no audible format...
I thoroughly enjoy keeping up to date with relevant articles on medium app, on any subject imaginable. I would however have liked the ability to listen to the article through the app, thus having the article available in an audible format as well.

The premium articles are very interesting, but one only get 3 of these per month. The rest of the articles are so-so.
I prefer Feedly, which has a free section where one can also select one’s own news feeds, save favourites, etc.
With close to 300 apps on my iPhone - which is not unusual - I would be paying about R20 000 per month rent if all were charging rent similar to Medium.

Very bad voiceover experience
I ama low vision user and finding it very frustrating to read an article with voiceover. After every sentence voiceover reads the action buttons... i’m a developer and not sure at all why/how they did this... seems like the action buttons areoverlayed on the article text... very disappointing

I read a lot, and I find Medium to be the most authoritative. The writing is engaging, precise and gets to the point quickly. Tailored To My Needs
I enjoy Medium for the quality of the writing received in my inbox and also because the content is delivered based in my personal choices.
There is still enough flexibility for me to go and read things that are also "off topic" if I desire to do so.

Overly Opinionated
Please allow me to use your app in an intuitive manner. Just like Facebook, you guys make it *extremely hard* to see where links in articles lead to and to share them easily via the share drawer. Long pressing (I believe that's the term) opens a web view without the ability to see what link you're opening.
Every link has to be clicked first to see where it leads to. Some articles which are in depth and link source material are best digested in an app such as Pocket. Being able to click and hold (longpress) on a link to see the URL would help.
That's primarily why I prefer reading Medium content in Pocket. It helps me avoid the back and forth I do in checking links and where they lead to.
Besides that, decent app that does what it should. No reinventing the wheel here. Just does the job proper.

Medium is great
Have only recently started using Medium and really enjoy the exposure to so many different topics and writers. It is quick to read an article while waiting or traveling. It is also useful that there is an indicator of how long an article will take to read. The range of topics is immense and it is great to see the different writers' takes on similar issues. It broadens my own understanding and horizons.
