I love this platform & it’s definitely a revolutionary app that is changing the social media game. My only concern is the limited exposure for certain minority communities, like myself who is South African with Indian heritage. I get that apps need to change to stay trendy, but at this point it has just become bad. Everything you do is now monitored and can be seen by other people. Look at someone’s profile and it notifies them, look at one single video and it tells them what exact video you watched and the others. Then what is this knock- off wanna be BeReal, “tiktok now” why do you need to do this it’s annoying.
Then maybe this is just my country, but the option to recommend tiktok to a friend in return for money; if you are going to make it an option don’t make it such an annoying option. Everytime I Open tiktok I am greated by this Christmas looking box in the top left corner that doesn’t go away unless you tap on it to get rid of it. It even goes as far as to sometimes taking up the whole screen and you have to go to the money making part of the page to get rid of it.

Im a brand new user to tiktok and my account was performing super well until recently when it took a HUGE dip and I started losimg a lot of features on my account like the face enhance option tiktok lives and support for tiktok is not the greatest and hardly responds when ur in need. I enjoy tiktok however the support team can do much better and banning in anyway should be notified. I just think that if anything happens to your account one ahould be informed of EVERYTHING. I had no idea Tik Tok could be such a wonderful platform. I take my phone to the forest and do some yoga- my dog joins in by bringing his ball. I have such spontaneous and delightful videos of him being part of the clip. It has also shown me the value of videos over photos- you get a real snippet of life and for family who are far away they can feel part of your life- for instance my son surfs professionally which means he is away from home a lot- because I now have videos of his dog Leo- he gets to see him and connect. Love this app so much! I’ve been on it since day 1. However, recently I have been really disappointed in the app. The sound quality when filming a video glitches out sometimes which is super annoying and it’s not just my phone, it’s happening to all my friends as well. Also when watching drafts or videos on my for you page the sound lags after you’ve watched the video more than once which is super irritating. Another thing is that they have changed the lay out of drafts which I hate. It’s so hard to find anything now. Hopefully they change it back to how it’s always been!
A few suggestions to make the app even better other than the things that need to be fixed are making it easier to find stitches or duets to a video, also being able to categorise the video you save into certain playlists would make it so much easier to find that video later when I need it.

This app is so AMAZING!!! I love the content and the safety I feel when entering tiktok. Tiktok has helped with studying- and sleeping tips. It has also helped me multiple times to style the right clothing with the right piece. There is multiple accounts giving safety woman and men advice and tricks then there is also the reason I’m not rating 5star. There’s thousands of hate accounts and maybe 99.9% of the is an on going account. Only 0.1% of those accounts have been blocked. I really love this app and would recommend

I used to like this app, it was great and everything, but now it is just pure toxic… you have kids on this app running around and ruining everything by reporting content creators for no reason.
Tiktok developers have no idea what they are doing now, they ban creators for no reason, and have no control over their app anymore… the amount of bots circulating on this app, leaving random inappropriate comments (such as follow this website for adult dating), is insane, and it doesn’t matter that you report that specific comment, nothing is done about it, and your original comment is then hidden…
This app was great, but now it is just a mess, woke cultures, kids and politics are ruining everything. And instead of coming to an app for laughs and great times, it’s just now a broken algorithm banning creators from making funny videos and leaving inappropriate videos (such as girls in really short skits and bras dancing, and politics) up.

Tiktok is a GREAT app but it is sadly broken for me. I'm not blaming the creators but let me tell you what happened. So I was on tiktok and I paused it but accidentally fell asleep. I woke up the next morning to a notification saying that my account was banned. I said ok and it took me back to the homepage. It kept reloading by itself and I was getting angry. When I finally got to log into an account, it banned it. Any account that I tried to log into was banned. Please tell me what's wrong with my tiktok

I’ve been on TikTok for a short while but I’ve already grown rapidly and still growing at a very high speed then I’ve experienced with other social platforms. I love the editing effects and all the wonderful creative options available on TikTok for creating video clips and more 😍 I literally spend hours on TikTok because I’m naturally creative and I enjoy being in that space. I’ve been watching TikTok for a while…I must say that I enjoy watching videos on this app because there’s no ads BUT..this is a very toxic platform where people get bullied and made fun of through duets and stitches…some videos contain triggering things but only gets taken down when reported. Even when it gets reported people make smurf accounts and post videos that were taken down because they screen recorded it. One example is a video of a girl being dec****tated and people have the audacity to comment “I liked it 🥰” Or when a woman puts a live fish in her acrylic nail, but when reported as animal abuse I get a message saying “this video doesn’t violate our guidelines” It lands on your fyp and it scars you for life. I’ve deleted this app and don’t think I’ll use it again, it’s made me more depressed about society than anything else! Filter your content correctly please.

I enjoy tiktok as many other people do, but the tiktok creators have recently added a new feature where people can literally buy views and buy followers. Does this not defeat the whole point of the app?
Tiktok is going to destroy itself just because they are being greedy for money.
When people buy views and buy followers, that means those people will automatically be put on other fyp’s.
where those who do not pay for the feature & are normal creators, who have worked for their followers & views, will start being put on the fyp less. Until they have literally nothing, to try and be force them into the scheme.
I think it is awful and greedy, let tiktok be, stop messing with it to benefit your own selfs, and take away the new feature.

It’s me AGAIN! I enjoy very specific content and had set it to only show me English Content. I still get other languages. Another very, in fact very troubling issue that will definitely make me leave Tiktok if nothing changes. I am not in it to be famous. I really like what I learn from meaningful content but the immoral videos on X-rated subjects while I am using it on restricted mode is slowly putting me OFF Tiktok. How do I change this? I don’t want videos that come up about immoral subjects. I keep having to block many creators & it’s tiring. If your algorithm isn’t letting you know I am not into those things then I will be left with no choice but to delete the APP.

TikTok is EXQUISITE!!!!! I love it. This app makes my day, I love the art and anime videos the most they are so inspiring! Teaching me so much about manga and line art. Not to mention there are so many tips from fellow artists on the app that helped me so much I now know how to paint! The racist, homophobic and body shaming videos are things that need to be worked on and stopped. But overall TikTok, I would say, is the best app ever! I’m In this world and the anime world😄

The more times you like a video they send you similar videos you like. I wish there was an un-like button so you get to NOT see content you dislike.
I’ve never seen so much racial hatred towards cultures from mostly USA in my life , and I thought SA was bad , can’t tiktok not regulate the comment sections and block or ban people who make this content etc .. otherwise I love this app it is quite easy to use and if you get sent videos you actually enjoy watching it is great.

TikTok started off as a great app where people can share videos, get creative and make others laugh. Soon people started stealing others dances mainly people with big platform would steal content from small accounts. People such as Charlie Damelio get their success from other peoples ideas. Body positivity challenges are top ranking TikTok trend lists but when women of colour and extra weight (bbw) join in on the trends their videos get taken down. Sounds that include words that black peoples can use are also used by other cultures no problem, the people that use those sounds know that if they are not black they don’t say the words. The problem begins when black people use those same sounds used by white people and their videos get taken down for “hate speech.” TikTok forgets that it’s making bank because of the black creators on that app. Majority of the trends and dances are made by black creators!! I dislike what TikTok has become. The users will soon start going down.

TikTok is more than anything app I happened to download it’s a platform where you get to be a star of your own . You being in control of it all and it’s like my other home . TikTok takes you to a place you’ve never been before , it’s really beautiful. The feeling I get feels so extraordinary it’s like a travel while you’re just chilling at home for some at work. With TikTok I learnt so many things , including being acceptable of my skin as some TikTokers illustrate their flaws and turn them into beauty . TikTok, this might not even reach you but, I don’t really know what happened but my TikTok literally deleted by accident or something and I didn’t know, so when I, re-download, I’m literally praying this point that my drafts just somehow stayed but they didn’t, and those drafts had some really important and precious memories that just all disappeared, I don’t know what to do but if you find this, somehow if you can, please help me get those drafts back or at least creat an update that allows for them to stay even after deleting the app so no one else has to lose them. This app is very fun n entertaining but I had a problm of being permanently banned from live streaming stating I violated age requirements..I understand the tiktok guideline vry well and I qualify to do a livestream I don’t know if tiktok detected that I have a baby face and banned me but now the problm is that the creators do not respond to appeals I have so many followers I don’t wish to loose them without my live-streaming I am empty...till today I have no response and I am still banned...tiktok needs to look out for these things and make some changes instead of banning us for no reason m very disappointed and hurt.

TikTok is an amazing app don’t get me wrong as someone who has gained a descent following there I really like it. But something I’ve noticed is that TikTok suppresses black creators and they don’t really take reports seriously. One pf my videos was taken down of me falling because someone I duetted said “all trump supporters stand up” wile girls who make accounts and videos about how to become anorexic aren’t against community guidelines. And it isn’t very common for a poc to get verified on the platform. If you are planning on downloading the app I say go for it but you need to understand that it’s not all dancing and happiness there are people fighting for their rights here with people on their side. This platform is so many things it’s hard to keep track sometimes and if you want to join us do it but be ready for a storm.

This app honestly changed my whole life. I don’t know what person I would’ve been if I didn’t download it in 2018. It’s an amazing way to express yourself through videos and connecting with people from all over the world. I’ve learnt so much from tiktok. The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because recently it started getting toxic. The app is full of sexism, racism and homophobic people. I’m tired of the negativity and drama on the app. Tiktok used to be so much fun but lately it’s just giving me bad vibes. And it’s not just the tiktok creators’ fault but the users on tiktok that make the negative videos as well. All the “daddy” povs and disgusting inappropriate content also needs to stop. There are kids on this app. Even with all the bad things, overall tiktok is great and I would be really sad if it gets banned. Lots of love ~M

the app is really convenient and makes everything really easy to use and the algorithm is AMAZING . literally i only see videos that i like . although it would be nice if in the next update you allowed creators to make playlists on their page so that series videos can be easier to find . can you also allow us to be able to see all the duets of a video on the video somehow . like so that we can access them easy . also can you make it possible to cross search many things at the same time . like i can be able to search for videos under a certain sound with a certain hashtag at the same time . that makes it so much easier to find specific content

I have no problems with this app whatsoever but I do have a suggestion: maybe TikTok could add the feature of allowing you to organize your saved videos into personalized albums. I, for example, have my different types of videos saved like cooking, makeup, funny and kpop videos. But it would be easier to access if with in the saved videos option I could make my own albums. Great app overall.

A lot of people on this app have been talking about how racist it is, even BEFORE the George Floyd case. I hadn’t seen any signs of racism but it all adds up now with regards to the hashtag. Why does George’s hashtag “suddenly” have a bug? It doesn’t make sense, no other hashtags had bugs before and since this situation is so important, why don’t you guys put in effort to fixing this “bug” because you can see how it’s upsetting the viewers? ALL the hashtags, “blacklivesmatter”, “BLM” “George Floyd”? GONE!! Coincidence? I think not. I’m not going to keep racist apps or speak highly of this app. I’m so disgusted and I feel like you guys are trying to keep us quiet. YOU. CAN’T. SILENCE. US!!!!
