Notifications driving me crazy
I have kind of enjoyed this app until recently I have had issues with my EZVIZ NVR not sending notifications when there are alerts , I change the schedule, it defaults back , I have tried everything and now don’t get any alerts it’s driving me crazy and filling me with regret

I thought the paid subscription would be optional when i bought it. However, using sim only messes up the UI, and also makes motion and human detection less effective.

The app is great, please consider adding more cloudplay subscription options for South Africa, it is currently limited to four and is insufficient

Alerts given not sufficient
The camera works perfectly, however on iphone the Ezviz notification doesn't stand out.
I want to be woken up by Ezviz cam at night if it is triggered with it's own unique sound and Iphone won't allow it.
The integration was not thought through properly. For a R5k product I would expect better.

It’s Getting Better
The app was judt okay when I bought my first Ezviz camera in 2023, but it has been improved with every new version.
The initial setup is still a little tricky with some camera versions, but it has improved. Biggest remaining frustration is the different controls and features for different camera models. Standardised controls would simplify and improve the experience.

C3APlus setup fails
Camera setup fails continuously. Have checked network with EZViz app and it is good. BUT, camera setup fails saying network suboptimal. I have another C3A camera that works perfectly. Please help!

Max of 4 cameras allowed on cloud subscription
App is fine however my limitations are as follows:
1. Cloud subscription is only limited to 4 cameras.
2. You can’t upgrade subscription once you subscribe to say 7 day recording, you can’t upgrade to 30 days.
3. You cant record all day videos, only clips or events.

Indoblu
These cameras are a must have. We have them in all 10 of our Indoblu shops. With these cameras we have been successful in catching thieves and had them imprisoned. We have also been able to use them to monitor our staff in our shops. We have also been able to have three of our staff arrested for theft as well as fraud. We opened our 10th store a week ago in George and there we also installed 10 EZVIZ cameras which has made it so easy to keep eyes on that store. My sister has also just installed 8 of the EZVIZ cameras in her hairdressers salon. This is an amazing product and I’m so satisfied with the quality of the product. I also have them at my home.

Quicker login
Good day.
Please could you make the login process quicker or perhaps keep the mobile phone logged in.
It’s so frustrating when you need to check your cameras urgently and the app takes the extra time to log in all the time.

Good App but Google Home not working
This app is a lot less sensitive to “issues” than the Hilook app, I chose it so I can use my cameras with Google Home/assistant, however that linking keeps failing and it seems that this has been extensively reported, but no solution yet. EZVIZ, please sort this!

Very bad app
The app is very bad, it notified me of detection and when I wanted to open the app it keeps kicking me out. Have tried for 30 minutes now now luck, it keeps on kicking me out of the app. I am thinking of returning the camera.

Best camera
I was looking for a security option that didn’t cost a fortune. I bought one camera first to try it out.
I now have 7 installed. The battery life is unbelievable, picture quality is amazing. Simple to install. I love these products

The camera are good but improvements required
The cameras has quite a number of good functionalities like views, configuration and etc. the following needs improvements.
1. The sound quality of the siren.
2. When you open the Ezviz page with multiple consoles, the camera shows the last view and not auto-refreshed to the latest view. you need to open the specific camera to see the latest view.
I’m not interested of the old view but need to see all the latest statuses live in all the consoles at the same times
3. Add the face recognitions functionality to choose to avoid any recording of yourself.

Make the whole right hand side clickable. The area is too small and when you wanna arm a single camera you sometimes go into the viewing mode of that camera. It was better before the last app update.

Great cameras but let down by really awful app
The hardware are great. They work and well made. The people in their IT dept clearly do not. And that is sad. App has too many things wrong and inconsistent.

Snapshots removed
Why were snapshots in notifications removed? It’s is extremely inconvenient to not preview what triggered the motion event. Please add the feature back.

Needs 5 and 2.4 hz for the wireless cams
It works well, just meeds fast,reliable internet, the wireless ,battery cams only us 2.4 hz and not 5 hz...so one cannot use a mobile router to connect...SAD

It’s a okay product I haven’t tested it yet as I cannot get my app to work, it ask you please verify that you are not human, it gives you code and then tells you incorrect…. What is the point waiting money on a product if it’s not working???

Was ok, got better, but took nice features away
The app is reasonable. Some improvements over the last few months. Had a feature to “select all” then it selected all the loaded videos and one could delete that. Now it’s gone and the only option is delete all. But now it deletes everything you have. Selecting 100’s of clips is really annoying and takes a very long time. Was better before the last 5 updates.

Storage issues
Can’t understand why my app is using 35GB of space on my iPhone. There are four SHORT videos in the saved album, but that’s all, as far as I can tell.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Are the deleted videos perhaps in some sort of Recycle Bin on the App?

Bugs in latest update
Since my iPhone updated to the latest iOS I can’t play the video history. Times out everytime. Same with my wife’s iPhone
But our old iPad still works fine.

Video playback very slow since updates
After the last few app updates the video playback speed has dropped terribly. Previously it loaded very quick. Running a 50/5 fibre line. Too many fancy interface changes being done but losing the core functionality.

Multi-Screen Live keeps dying
I’ve been trying to keep the app open on my screen so that if one of my motion detection alarms goes off, I’ll hear it right next to me and wake up - Unfortunately the app has started crashing (?) as soon as I have this up... The pc app doesn’t want to keep the feed from my cameras going, so this all looks like a bit of a waste of money 🤔

Apple need to investigate
Apple should investigate this app. It allows for Apple Sign-in but it only works if you have an account with Ezviz, hence, the privacy Apple sign-in gives you is moot.
Furthermore, the app requires too much personal information to work. It's cameras will only connect if you hive the app location permission, which is not necessary for a camera to work. It also needs your cell number where an email address is sufficient.

Not enough functionality
A second user is not able to arm or disarm the camera. There should also be auto schedules that came be set that the camera arms at a certain time of day and disarms. All smart appliances have schedules now. There should also be a quick disarm button if set off by mistake. This needs to improve.

Not receiving any notifications since iOS 14, please update the app, this should have been done during the developer beta phase if ios14. Also please add a schedule function to turn on and off the camera as per user requirements.

App or Camera issues (Regret buying it)
Bought the camera recently and installed the app. Ran it via WiFi and had issues from the get go “network unstable” and/or “device offline”. I then changed to network LAN and still same errors i rest the camera many times and still same issues. It works for few minutes and suddenly stops. When in the same location and the issues seem to be persistent and more and never stops.
Regret buying it. Wasted my money. Should've done more research...

Don't bother
Gives a constant error at 90% progress of connecting the camera to the app. No support from EZVIZ to resolve it. Tried different connections etc and the camera does indicate it is connected, but never shows up in this useless little app. Don't bother fiddling with it.

Need backup options
Don’t like that videos from motion detection events are not saved to my phone. Also I cannot find the URL to set up a FTP server for backing up footage. At the moment if the camera is stolen the only evidence you will have of who did it is a blurry screenshot from the notification. IF it took that photo when the person was in view that is. The windows app also doesn’t allow you to record 24/7. Would love to be able to set a loop time of say 6 hours footage that will overwrite if not stopped by the user. I want to have piece of mind that if the camera is stolen in a break in, I can go to my work pc and retrieve all the footage

Dead in the water
Cannot register an account, when you submit you get a cryptic message “1 to 20 characters”. Sending my cameras back to the store as there is no app.
Also cannot register with Google or Facebook, as this company does not understand how to do federated authentication. I cannot “Link” my account, to an internal account. The program should read the claims from Facebook or Google and should simply create the internal account.

I love the gadget
For me both gadget and app work perfectly. The ability to review and playback as and when you want gives the comfort of knowing that you can do back anytime and any day events.
For me it’s a 👍🏾
Obviously there just that delay element when streaming live feeds from different networks but it’s nothing to beat yourself over.
