I've listened to SYSK for over a decade from when these guys still bongo drummed next to Marshall Brain - on a webpage, not yet even an unwieldy HSW app. Across cities, bike rides and now from a backwater in the 3rd world, I put this on whenever I need chicken soup for the mind. Josh and Chuck are more than just informative and entertaining: you feel that you're joining real friends having a banter about compelling stuff ... you should know.

Just listened to the great double feature on Leo Fender & Les Paul and instantly forwarded to our small team at Rubato Guitars. Making a contribution to the evolution of the iconic electric guitar is what gets us up in the morning. This was such a good listen that we’re going to add it to our induction programme. Never a dull episode - been an avid listener for 3 years: yet to find something to complain about.

I listen to these guys every week, and can’t get enough. They have set a high standard of uncovering and sharing incredible backstories and insight to topics I never thought I would enjoy so much.

Josh and Chuck are the best companions - they make even the most boring topics interesting! Best. Podcast. Ever. I can’t recommend SYSK enough. I irritate my family all the time with interesting facts, and most of my discussions start with “I listened to a podcast...”

I downloaded a lot of episodes as I recently found this podcast. The topics looked interesting. But I quickly got bored. These guys ramble on about nothing, I don’t think that they know a lot about the topics that they discuss because then they wouldn’t have to keeping rambling on about things that have nothing to do with the topics. Actually quite weird.

Love Josh & Chuck... this is totally my favorite podcast, it’s my go-to every night.

I’ve listened to countless episodes and each one made the long drive to work more bearable. Don’t try to ‘explain’ Josh and Chuck’s humour to others but rather get them to listen to an episode. Just NOT the jackhammers one :) Sysk shorts is a great addition.

I listen to a wide range of podcasts and SYSK remains my favourite. Despite this podcast being the one I’ve listened to longest, I am still as excited to see a new episode arrive, and marvel at how Josh and Chuck have kept their energy and intrigue going over the years. Please keep going, guys, we still love it!

Josh and Chuck always created a feeling that anyone,of any description can enjoy it.

Recently though, they had an episode on Vaping and I thought that Josh had such a strong point of view,that any facts given were overshadowed. I am a Vaper myself, so this one really stung. If they couldve handled the topic less judgementally, their listeners who Vape might feel better.

Tried to listen too the last two episodes,but my heart isn't in it anymore

I loved their podcast for years so it's sad that I am probably going to stop if it stays the same 😔

Great variety of topics underwritten by eloquent presentation ... I really enjoy the humour that is sewn in to each subject matter ... These guys drift off-piste and then pull it back into line so well ... 5 Stars from me ... especially amusing when they try to pronounce 'foreign' words ... Thanks so much .. I started listening to the Royalty episode and only got about twenty minutes in before I couldn't stand it anymore. They ramble on about something they clearly don't know much about. Both of these men may have a vague knowledge about what each episode is about, but not enough to record and distribute hour-long podcasts to 'educate' people. Wikipedia is a better source. These two should be disgusted for calling this podcast "Stuff you should know" when it's clearly not stuff they know.

This podcast is absolutely brilliant. Relaying information in a personal way, as if you're having a conversation with someone, this is the best way to absorb info. I especially enjoy the halloween readings, but everything is pretty awesome with Josh and Chuck in the mix. xx

Just yesterday, my wife and I were watching a TV show and one of the characters believed that her husband had been taken away and replaced by an alien imposter. I turned to my wife and said that this lady must be suffering from capgras syndrome. And I was right!

That's just one of the fascinating things that I had learned from this entertaining and informative podcast. Keep up the great work.

This is really nice. Very informative with just the right amount of fun as well. These guys tackle difficult as well as fun topics with a perfect balance of seriousness and humour. Informative AND entertaining. What more could you want? It's addictive!
